It’s been wonderful to be at the first ever cell and gene therapy Awards Ceremony, organised by #Phacilitate and during #AdvancedTherapiesWeek. It’s amazing to think how recently there was so much effort through the sector, and optimism, but little actual success to give awards to. Now, at #AdvancedTherapiesWeek, it’s a step change in seeing how these efforts have been rewarded by actual tangible results. Whilst this success is well known, especially in the sector itself, this evening has provided the ideal opportunity to mark this success, and celebrate the achievements of those of us that have given, and achieved the most. Ultimately, this is all for patients and to save and transform lives of those of us suffering from terrible diseases, and it’s fantastic to be part of a sector which has the best chance of doing this.
